Cancellation Policy

We understand that travel plans can change. This Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations of confirmed bookings with Ashapura Tour & Travels are handled. Refund amounts are governed by our Refund Policy.

How to cancel

Cancellations must be communicated to us by phone, WhatsApp (9537028432) or email (contact@ashapuratourandtravels.com). A cancellation is effective when we confirm that we have received it.

Tours, packages and car rental

• More than 48 hours before departure: free cancellation. Any advance paid is refunded as per the Refund Policy, less any non-refundable third-party costs already incurred on your behalf.
• 24 to 48 hours before departure: a reasonable cancellation charge may apply to cover arrangements already made.
• Less than 24 hours before departure, or no-show: the advance paid may be retained in full.
• Cancellation of individual days or destinations during an ongoing multi-day tour is treated as a change; unused days are not automatically refundable once the vehicle has been assigned and the trip has started.

Homestay accommodation

• More than 48 hours before check-in: free cancellation.
• Within 48 hours of check-in, or no-show: the first night’s advance may be retained.
• Early check-out: nights already used are chargeable; remaining nights are refunded at our discretion depending on availability and notice.

Changes and rescheduling

We are happy to reschedule dates or change destinations wherever possible. Rescheduling is subject to availability and any difference in cost will be discussed with you before confirmation.

Cancellation by us

In rare cases we may need to cancel or change a booking due to vehicle breakdown, driver illness, weather, road closures, strikes or restrictions imposed by temples or authorities. In such cases we will offer an alternative vehicle, date or arrangement, or a full refund of the advance paid for the affected service.

Festival and peak periods

During festivals, long weekends and peak tourist season, special cancellation terms may apply. These will be communicated clearly at the time of booking.
